Remove overlaid text from an image (a watermark, a caption, added text) by painting over it: the AI reconstructs what was underneath, directly in your browser.

Uses an inpainting model (MI-GAN) running in your browser via WebAssembly to generate plausible content under the marked text, based on the texture of the surrounding area.

Frequently asked questions

Does it detect the text automatically?

No — this first version doesn't detect the text for you; you paint over it by hand. It's deliberately simple, with no OCR or auto-detection.

Does it work with any background under the text?

It works best when the background under the text is fairly uniform or repetitive. On highly detailed backgrounds, the result can be less precise.

Can I use it to falsify documents?

That's not its purpose or intended use: it's built for cleaning up your own watermarks, added captions, or overlaid text on images you have the right to use.
