Uses an inpainting model (MI-GAN) running in your browser via WebAssembly to regenerate the area where the date was printed, based on the surrounding texture.

How it works

    The AI reconstructs the area. The first time it downloads a model (~10 MB).

Frequently asked questions

Does it detect the date automatically?

No — you paint over it by hand, same as any other text. It's usually quick since the date stamp is small.

Does it work if the date is over a highly detailed background?

It works best when the background under the date is fairly uniform (sky, wall, ground). Over a very detailed area, the result may need a small touch-up.
