Remove an unwanted person from a photo by painting over them: the AI reconstructs what was behind them, directly in your browser.

Uses an inpainting model (MI-GAN) running in your browser via WebAssembly to generate plausible content where the person was, based on the texture and context of the rest of the photo.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work well with large or close-up people?

The bigger the person is in the photo, the harder it is to reconstruct a plausible background behind them — it works best with moderately sized people over a fairly simple background.

Does it leave any visible trace?

On simple backgrounds (sky, wall, sand) the result is usually convincing. On highly detailed backgrounds or straight lines (architecture, patterns), the reconstructed area can be noticeable.
