Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to your data when you use QuickToolio (quicktoolio.com). For any question about it, write to us at contacto@quicktoolio.com.
Every QuickToolio tool processes your files, text and other content directly on your own device, using the capabilities of your browser. The content you enter — images, documents, text, JSON, passwords you generate, and so on — is never sent to our servers or to a third party's for processing: QuickToolio has no backend of its own, it's a fully static site.
QuickToolio is served through Cloudflare, our hosting and content-delivery provider. As with any website, Cloudflare technically handles the data needed to deliver the page to you — for example your IP address and the connection's basic HTTP headers — for content delivery, performance and security purposes. You can read their policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
The video and audio tools use our own build of FFmpeg (GPL-2.0 licensed), which runs in your browser via WebAssembly — same as every other tool, with your file never uploaded to a server. The corresponding source code and the exact build recipe are published at github.com/ikergm00/quicktoolio-ffmpeg-core-build.
For two very specific preferences, we use your browser's local storage (localStorage), not cookies. Neither ever leaves your device or gets sent to a server:
- qt-consent: stores your analytics/advertising consent decision.
- qt-theme: stores whether you prefer the light or dark interface.
You can clear both at any time from your browser settings without affecting how the tools work.
QuickToolio has Google Analytics (GA4) configured to understand, in aggregate, which tools get used most and to catch errors — never the content you enter into a tool. The measurement library only loads, and analytics data is only requested or stored, if you've given explicit consent through the consent panel; until then, neither happens. See the cookie policy for more detail.
QuickToolio uses, or is set up to use, Google AdSense as a way to sustain the free service. The base AdSense library is used for account integration and verification with Google, and may load components related to Google's consent management, including its certified panel once published (see the cookie policy for detail). While advertising isn't enabled in the site's configuration, no ad is requested or shown, and no code that activates personalized ads runs. Once enabled, Google and its advertising partners will be able to use additional cookies to show and measure ads, subject to the consent you've given — you can see how Google handles that data at policies.google.com/privacy.
QuickToolio has no sign-up or contact forms built into the site: if you email us at contacto@quicktoolio.com, we use your email only to reply to your message.
Depending on your country of residence, applicable data protection law (for example, the GDPR in the European Union) may give you rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over your personal data. You can exercise them by writing to contacto@quicktoolio.com.
We may update this policy if how the site works, or the services it uses, changes. The version published on this page is always the current one.
