Uses a subject segmentation model (U²-Net) that runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly, with no server involved. The model computes which pixels belong to the main subject and produces a transparency mask applied over the original image.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with any kind of photo?

It works best when there's a clear subject (a person, product, animal, object) against a reasonably different background. On very complex photos or very fine edges (loose hair, sheer fabric), the cutout may not be perfect in the details.

Is it free with no usage limit?

Yes. No watermark, no limit on the number of images: all processing happens on your own device.

Why does the first run take longer?
