Removes the background with a subject segmentation model (U²-Net) running in your browser, replaces it with solid white, and center-crops to the chosen size's aspect ratio before resizing to its exact pixel resolution (computed at 300 dpi).

Frequently asked questions

Does it automatically center the face?

No — this first version crops to the center of the photo as uploaded, with no face detection. For a good result, upload a photo where you're already centered and facing forward, like in a photo booth.

Does it work for any country?

The presets cover the most-searched formats (Spain, EU/Schengen, US). Many other countries use the same EU (35×45 mm) or US (2×2 in) measurements; if your paperwork needs a different size, use Resize Image after downloading the result.

What if I need a gray or blue background instead of white?

Use Change Background Color with the same framing approach; this tool is built specifically for the most common requirement, a white background.
