Detect faces in a photo and automatically pixelate them to protect people's identity, with AI directly in your browser.

Uses a face detection model running in your browser via WebAssembly to locate each face, then applies a classic pixelation effect (shrink and enlarge without smoothing) only within that area.

Frequently asked questions

Does it detect every face in a group?

It detects reasonably visible, front-facing or semi-profile faces. Very small, tightly profiled, or heavily obscured faces can be missed — always check the result before sharing the photo.

What if it detects no faces?

Try a photo where the face is clearer and better lit. If the problem persists, this tool isn't reliable for that kind of image.
