Remove a logo's background with real transparency, directly in your browser. Built for logos with a flat background (white or a single color), the most common case.

Analyzes each pixel's brightness and makes everything above a threshold (the flat background) transparent, with edge softening so the logo's outline doesn't look jagged. It's a classic threshold, not an AI model: for flat-background logos it gives a cleaner cutout and needs no model download.

Use cases

  • Preparing a company logo to overlay on a website with any background color.
  • Cleaning up a logo exported with a white background from a PDF or screenshot.
  • Creating a transparent version of a logo for a PowerPoint or Canva template.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload the logo

The cutout threshold is calculated automatically as soon as the image loads.

  2. 2

    Adjust the sensitivity if needed

Move the control to include or exclude midtones near the edge.

  3. 3

    Download the PNG

With a real transparent background, ready for a website, documents, or presentations.

Frequently asked questions

Why doesn't it use AI like "Remove Background from Image"?

A logo is usually a flat graphic on a uniform background, not a photo with an object and a background scene. A brightness threshold gives a cleaner edge in that case and is instant, with no model to download. If your logo sits on a photo or a complex background, try "Remove Background from Image" instead.

What if the result leaves background residue or cuts into the logo?

Move the sensitivity control: one way includes more tones as background, the other preserves more of the logo's detail.
