Online Pomodoro timer
Alternate focus sessions with short and long breaks using the Pomodoro technique, with editable durations and phase-change alerts.
25:00
Session 1 of 4
An online Pomodoro timer that alternates focus sessions with short and long breaks following the Pomodoro technique, with durations you can adjust before or during use.
Each phase (focus, short break or long break) is an independent countdown that follows the same calculation based on the real start time, so it doesn't lose accuracy if you leave the tab in the background. After each focus session, the tool automatically decides whether a short break follows or, every certain number of sessions, a long one.
Use cases
- Organize study blocks with regular breaks.
- Stay focused while writing or coding during short sessions.
- Structure remote or team work time into blocks.
How it works
- 1
Set the durations
Change the minutes for focus, short break, long break and how many sessions come before the long break.
- 2
Start
Press "Start" and work until the phase-change alert sounds.
- 3
Let it move on its own
When each phase ends, the next one starts automatically; use "Skip phase" if you need to move ahead.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I change the durations during a break?
The change applies to the current phase if the timer is stopped; if it's running, it applies starting from the next phase.
Can I use durations other than the classic 25/5/15 minutes?
Yes, every value is editable: focus, short break, long break and the number of sessions before the long break.
Does it save statistics of my completed sessions?
No. It's deliberately a simple timing tool, with no accounts, tasks or history: just the current phase and cycle.
