Technical details
- Example: from 22:30 to 06:15 is 7 h 45 min, because the shift is assumed to cross midnight.
- It works in hours and minutes (no seconds) and the result never exceeds 24 hours. For spans of several days, use the days between dates calculator.
- If the end time equals the start time, the result is 0, not 24 hours.
- Breaks aren't deducted: subtract them from the total yourself when calculating hours worked.
