Technical details
- Each page appears in a list with its original number and arrows to move it up or down; there are no thumbnails, so it helps to keep the PDF open in another window to know what's on each page.
- Pages aren't recompressed. The result is a new document: pages are copied with their content, but not the bookmarks (side outline) or the original's metadata, such as title or author.
- Limit: 50 MB per PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Can I undo a reorder?
No history is kept; if you make a mistake, re-upload the original file and repeat the process.
Can I duplicate or drop pages while reordering?
No: this tool only changes the order and keeps every page exactly once. To drop pages use the remove pages tool, and to keep only some, the extract pages tool.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
No. An encrypted PDF can't be opened without its password. If you know it, remove it first with the unlock PDF tool, then use the resulting file.
